My first FSR

that is a great bike .

I was just about to ask how it compares to the Intense .

Differencies to Intense...

FSR rear suspension is much smoother and propedal is really working when put on.

VPP did´t work together with RP23 and propedal. I had shock tuned and did´t use propedal at all... then it was ok, but FSR is much better.

Frame is lighter and a lot stiffer.

Head angle is now what it says, I dont believe Tracer had what they promise, it felt steeper.

Ive owned a rockhopper and stumpy but never tried their full sus :( i like the horst linkage they got from amp and put it mainstream

Must admit to a preference to their early models

Great looking bike there Shamus, be sure to post an update with the red King hubs  Nice photos too!

The Horst/FSR system takes some beating IMHO. I own/have owned quite a few bikes using it: 1st gen Specialized FSR, Dagger FS, Intense Uzzi and Tazer and a Titus Racer X as my current main ride.

Few pics from todays ride...
