Are you guys racing this year...do you fancy putting a ten man team together....ooo and can I be in it ?
East Mids are all doing a roadie coast to coast ride the weekend before mm13 and as I don't need to prove how big my balls are I am riding Mayhem instead as I dig off road retro more than on road pissing contests

Which ride ?
Wiggle Mountain Mayhem 2013 is the uk's premier mountain biking weekend and the venue is not yet announced but there is usually a massive contingent of retrobikers there off this forum camping riding and socialising
Making it one of the unmissable events of the year...see in the rides events section for more details.......or do you mean the road ride ?in which case blah blah blah I'm not listening blah blah blah.

I thought it was at the same place every year :?:

It's looking more and more likely I'll be needing an operation on my elbow, so it's very unlikely I'll be in a position to ride, but I always read the threads wishing I was there.

If dates align etc I'd be happy to act as a mechanic/feeder/sun cream applier (the law of averages says the weather will be glorious this year)

dunno, it's a long way from here or at least was and we Yorkshire men are not known for putting cash out to spend money  which is why there was never a NE&Yorks team

BUT it is quite tempting

trebz, it's a big event put on near a hill and some trees.
Last year the organisers organised plenty of mud, mud and more mud.

you get to ride at 2:24 in the morning after a load of bears then you're not allowed to sleep as you have the duty of heckling the rides.
So I've been told, never been.
AndyB has though, so has longun.
I think you might have to dress up as a lady bear though ?

So basically, dress up silly, get free camping for the weekend, drink beer, BBQ and sleep deprived. Every now and then go for a lap or two of riding?

Not sure if last years Aftermath is a good advert or not

Still it's going to be in the Worcester/Gloucester/Hereford area

According to the Facebook page, they will be announcing the location on Wednesday next week.

Place was announced or so says my email from them
Even further away at Gatcombe Park

So bit to far for me at 204 miles

To be held 15th and 16th June which means the date has changed yet again but now does not clash with the CTC York twotribes
