Holts silicone spray arrived yesterday.
I think it’s made a difference. I’ve certainly been able to tighten the wheel up further without significantly worsening the grinding sound....well on the stand at least.
I’ll have to see what it’s like during & after a ride. :|

Hoping that a thread revival can assist with my current issue. Each time I ride, the rear hub 40mm nut comes loose. Now I’m all for torquing things up correctly but I’m scared of over tightening and crushing or cracking the wheel. Has anyone had this issue?
