I reckon that a bit of wear helps with mechs and chains. Throw in a touch of top pulley float and its suprising what works. it might be argued that a perfect complete system as run by a works team in brand new condition will shift sweeter but throw in some wear and the hybrids are surprisingly good. .
Front mechs are easier agreed and old Campag is made for playing with. I want some more.
