A very sad neglected dynatech

No, it was a shop bought, off the shelf Merida Albontech. Merida, I believe, learned from Raleigh how to bond and make such frames. Possibly a safety measure devised in Taiwan.
Ah. I see. It wasn't a Dynatech but a Merida.

Yeah. It could quite easily be a production technique applied by Merida then.

None of my Dynatechs have any wire in them. Just straight bonding.

Always how a good project starts though.
Once you've got the bike stripped....no harm in taking a bit of paint off to see what you've actually got. If it's too far gone, you've a least got the parts/ groupset to build/ save another.
