Wheelsmith built TNT titanium wheelset  ...been looking for ages for a wheelset with TNT ti hubs.....

USE ti 'post ...it was this with the purple anno clamp that made me go for the purple highlights on the rest of the bike :) ....afterall, it was the colour (iirc) back in '93

More purple.... :)

SRP alloy (purple) crank bolts hiding behind the dust-caps :) ....

Re: BiTD Builds No.3 1993 DBR Axis Team Titanium - DONE!

Very Very Sweet! I'm loving the purple!

Just out of interest are those Alu or Ti bolts holding the canti's on?

Re: BiTD Builds No.3 1993 DBR Axis Team Titanium - DONE!

That's really cool and I love that top cap, somewhere in my parents loft there is a box with one of those in, I must have a good look up there again.
That's a great finish you got on the frame.

Re: BiTD Builds No.3 1993 DBR Axis Team Titanium - DONE!

A very nice built and I love the purple parts. But I think this is not a 1993 frame. Because 1993 the cable Routing was complete on the right site an the bikes don´t have S-Bend chainstays.

Mathias

Thanks :)

You're right...I believe it's 1994; it still has a couple of the original stickers on the frame: the gold one at the top of the seat-tube and the one at the bottom as well.

I wanted to use 1993 decals as that's the one I had originally back in 1993, and I prefer them to the later ones ;) ...also done a 94 and 95 build previously (see links in sig).

Cheers :)

Re: BiTD Builds No.3 1993 DBR Axis Team Titanium - DONE!

Very Nice... :D

I'm surprised Pyro-Tim (lover of all things DBR) hasn't commented yet, perhaps the excitement was to much
and you've single handily caused his demise

Love the 3dv.... What about adding some of these ?
