Fork stripped down; perfect internal condition :D





Long Travel Kit fitted...





.....also air-volume 'tuned' to give a 'bigger' air-spring. Fork works very nicely now :D

Finally managed to complete the 're-brushing' work on the frame and applied a new set of 1993 Axis TT decals (courtesy of Gil) :)

How did you do that?

I know some watch parts sellers, sell these pads to restore titanium brushed finishes on watches and bracelets (they're a bit like brillo pads) - just interested in how you went about it?

I basically use 'scotch' pads, garryflex blocks, a dremel type tool for the hard to get at bits and a lot of patience :) ...this one took more work than other ti frames I've 're-finished' (see links in sig) as the original finish was quite a course blasted one.
