Hi all,
I am new to the forum. I have the chance to buy a "Colnago". Problem is that I don't think it is a real one. Could somebody let me know what they think. I only have the one photo. I may go to look so I can actually confirm but it is a long way away so don't want to waste my time. The main thing i spot is the three brake guides. It has shimano 600 on apparently so no major value in the parts. It is cheap though so may be worth the risk.

Many thanks for your thoughts!

The pic doesn't unveil much, but yes there are fake ones around and the fender mounts doesn't promise very much good about yours. I am not an expert though, maybe there were genuine fender mount Colnago's around

Hi again, thanks for the comments so far. To be fair I have been told by the owner that the front forks definately aren't original. I am not sure if I can see mudguard eyes on the rear? Thanks

The frame lugs look quite industrial, Colnago ones are much finer they have far more attention to detail.
