Thinking of a Parkpre as my next build, the main reason is because it appears from what I can find is that there is no specific parts that have to go on the bike to make it a Parkpre. In other words I can build more or less what I like. Can someone tell me if this is the case? What is the general perception of steel Parkpre's? Your comments/thoughts are most welcome.

Comp limited has a basic steel frame that gives a ride like a cheap steel frame only can - disappointing at best. Save your pennies for a Team 925 or Pro 825 frame and I guarentee the ride will bring a smile to your face. As for parts, try looking for genuine PFR (Parkpre Factory Racing) components. They do pop up on Ebay some times.

Good luck.

My Sceptre Comp was brilliant! Hope you have the nickel plated one ( I'm biased of course ). The components most iconic to the Parkpre were Pulstar straight pull hubs. Other than that it was pretty standard Shimano. Hope this helps mate.
