I believe they were made back in that period...forget the company that made them, perhaps profile???

Watersnake Innovations waterbottle care

I have that waterbottle cage in gold and its made by Watersnake Innovations of Tucson, AZ. Owned it since new, purchased 97/98. Its in the closet now, but it may be mounted soon.
