However random, what have been your best retro pick ups of the year? :D

First for me was finally getting hold of a Ridgeback 704XT and enjoying every second (and penny!) building it up..

Second, I love my retro clobber and getting the Been Bag jersey I've been after for ages for the princely sum of £3.50 on eBay left me buzzin'

Lastly, continuing the retro gear theme, landing a minty, boxed Etto 'Classic' helmet put a smile on my face!

A bit of an eclectic mix there but I love 'em all to bits  :D

Over to you.........

Not only last year because things began in 2011, but I would say my Yeti C26 for bike things
But with a baby in my house, I don't think that I would make such a purchase in 2014 ! :D

FINALLY finding a pair of early USE EA60 Stealth forks and then finding out they were saveable too.

It's only taken....well I've forgotten how long, to find a pair.

Then finding an 18" Ink Blue Zaskar frame to bolt them to. OK it's a year younger than ideal, but I can finally start the build I've been planning for at least the last 5 years.

Two unicorns in one year, both the Raleigh 531 team and Muddyfox Prestige comp were found after 4 years of searching. Pretty sure that I have the only examples of both on here. Love the ridgeback too.

Two yellow flite's made me rather happy, a nos one for the Zaskar and a 96 Tinker Juarez ltd edition in the same level of tattyness as the Merlin that its going on.

Some lovely NOS late 80s Campagnolo nylon Toe straps in Campagnolo colours. :D And a Beautiful NOS Regina Super America Chain in gold, still in the tin.... 8)
