Something was wrong with the rear wheel and removal of the freewheel exposed this, new parts for Hadley hubs aren't easy to find.
Closest looking one from Amazon;
Some time on the lathe;
And the rear wheel was reassembled with a new(er) rim.

Not quite over the line yet but it's now rideable;

It needs more red. I do have an anodised red chainring but it's just too much.
Seatpost is getting two new bolts and some bar plugs need fitting. Stem feels a bit long at 130mm but I'll see how it goes. Very happy so far but it's not finished yet.

So it got that last bit of red.....
I know, but the '97 decals were ruined anyway.
Quickly replaced the stem for a 110mm and instantly felt better on it, but think maybe a 90/100mm and 10 or so higher will be about right.
Headed out for a first ride and somehow did 59 miles.
