Yeti Fro /C26

Well, using the first-gen 115mm Doug Bradbury fork I have as a guide, I'll also do two Manitou 1 answers with first-gen DB-style tips in 100mm. The forks used by the JT and JF bicycles were also different, as they were made of magnesium alloy and the forks had a different design. The screw to tighten the elastomers went underneath. But my idea was to make the JT and JF replicas as similar as possible, and I didn't like a second generation Manitou Answer 1 or DB. I guess something good will come out of here.

photos by Martin. The JT prototype and the version with aluminum tips.
Big differences between the two.

Loving this thread...as an engineer myself I've always thought you might as well just make the parts yourself! Hopefully John and Doug don't mind! 😉
I would be happy with a 3D machine for metal. I believe that with technical and material advances almost anything can be done.

Hello everyone . After many months, the construction of several Replicas, reissues or tributes (each one calls it what they want) of the Yeti C26 is underway. Our first idea was not to destroy a Fro. After several months, we found several new and original rears in California. Building off of that wonder of 4130 chromoly tubing, we'll be using Enve carbon tubing. Made by Enve to order for the project.
As we are several friends, we are going to use Instagram to post photos and construction progress.

But I will also post photos here and answer questions.

This would be the link.

The fun begins.
Amazing project & build! The Instagram link from your first post doesn't go anywhere anymore... :(

In the absence of some details, such as the name of Juli Furtado being bigger, and a lilac nipple on each wheel, the result would be like this. I like it ..
