Running them outside the brake levers just leaves you with half your grip covered by the shifter lever and a brake lever only accessible by your index finger.
Going to give the never ones a try I think before resorting to making my own shifter clamps :/
Why would you need more than a single finger on 1 finger levers?

Come now chopper old chap.you're not sitting there trying to lead us to believe you can stop on just one finger ,Yes if you're the racing whippet type but I'm guessing you're not

I stop 14.5st with V's on a single digit, just fine

+1 with the V's stopping me with a single digit...I'm a 15 stone heffalump

I only weigh 2/3rds of that, I probably could operate the anchors with my pointers alone, but it just doesn't feel right.
My old GT hack has cheap V's and plenty enough bite.
My Saracen has C2's and ditto.
Just doesn't feel comfortable.
Two fingers for me (that's what she said!)

With my middle fingers on the brakes, I don't feel like I have proper control of the bars... it's a bmx thing I think
