Okay delete inappropriate threads all together but changing what people wrote in posts to read something differently ..... WTF :?

Have the courtesy Mods and show that a post has been edited rather than sneak in change what the post says and leave.

Don't know what's going on can't comment on what was edited. If it was an offensive post then I've got no problem with Mods editing and the user reprimanded, BUT it should show that editing took place. I'm not comfortable with my views being 'secretly' edited on an open public forum that can be viewed by guests.

Love this site and have nothing but praise for the Mods but hope it doesn't start developing the ways experienced on another online forum concerned with Retro bikes. Would be a damn shame

I'm in no way suggesting that you should be specific on this thread as that wouldn't be helpful but non specific accusations don't really move things forward any.

I'm a bit confused about the point of this thread - if you have an issue then contact one of the Mods and we'll sort it if it needs sorting.

Have to agree with what Ed has said. As I see it there are a few points here

->If a post was edited it is probably good form a moderator puts in an edit reason. We will discuss this. To be honest if there is something iffy in a post I'll normally just bin it...

->I'd hope you'd not post anything which needs moderating!

->Why not contact myself or one of the other mods if you had a concern. As the weekends excitement showed a quiet word with a mod is the best way forward rather than vague accusations.

->I'm not overly keen on your usage of WFT. FFS.
