Wow! Vintage pedals 😵

The one that started it all the Look PP65, introduced in 1983 and made famous by Bernard Hinault in his Tour success of 1984. An early adopter myself I kind of fondly remember falling over at traffic lights, not having yet mastered the twist and release outward manoeuvre...!

WWII BSA Paratrooper bike pedal.

You need solid heels like army boots (b4 1980) and then they place the crank in the wromg position under the foot so it feels bloody awful
No wonder most of the cranks got replaced with ones with pedal threads.
(In the "parabike" the spindle slides through the eye for compact transportation. )

Age and origin unknown, but probably French c.1900. The blocks are made of wood!

These might be another pair of PIEL duralumin pedals from the 30/40s, can't quite make it out!
