In 2002 I bet a friend 50 quid that the US or Australia would win the footy world cup by 2014.

Gotta agree with that. We (Australia) play Germany first up (do they even play football there?). Should be a nice warm up match, I hope we don’t embarrass them too much.

Did anyone watch the Rugby Union Last night? Australia played England (do they even play Union there?) Judging by the score the answer is 'no'.

I didn't realise the rugby was on yesterday, but I had dinner with our Aussie neighbours and he may have mentioned it. Within 3 seconds of us arriving .... (he got me a beer first)

Capello needs to grow some balls and start Joe Hart as he's been the outstanding English goalkeeper all season.
I thought America did a very good job of keeping Rooney out of the game.

He nearly cocked that oe up too! Should never get beaten at your near post so that was a pretty standard save for me.
