White tires

I rememeber a while back a forum on the subject and found this on page 41 of mays MBR, now i'm no wizard on the pc (just look at my number of posts) so i'll do it the old fashioned way and copy it word for word.

WHITE WEENIES
Schwable recently did a small run of white Rocket Rons for scott, but the tyres caused such a stir with the white-clad race whippets that the company has decided to make a limited batch of a few thousand tyres. They'll be available for Schwalbe's German domestic market first, but the importer Bohle UK may get a few hundred shipped over. No prices yet as yet, but you can always badger Bohle; it's been fielding calls about the tyres for a while now. www.bohle.co.uk

I badgered Bohle a few times for them and they told me (on each occasion ) that all the stock was allocated. :cry: :cry:

I ordered a pair from them yesterday for £110 posted. The chap said only 100 pairs hit the UK of which they have 40 of.... Bit cheaper than the original rrp too

Probably not relevant but Halo do their Twin rail tyres in white !
