Where do some people get off....

I know but there are young people that use this site and it doesn't look good all this arguing and calling people stuff . Anyway that's my view anyway.

What are we supposed to do? Agree with everything thats said and throw flowers at each other?

A statement was made that an ex-pat considers the whole of the UK to be full of bad drivers. Clearly it isnt and going by statistics the UK is one of the safest places to drive.

Thsi is a public forum and an 'off topic' section - whats gonna offend 'young' people? Wrong use of a proper noun??

There are some very bad drivers on the road that make it their mission to annoy others. Same goes for this forum, some seem to go out of their way to piss people off.

Didn't say you had to agree just saying that there are nicer ways of putting things. To start calling people t##ts is a bit much .

I can see what uktyler is trying to say. He isn't saying the guy is right for over taking, not at all . That is bad but the people who when are being over taken and they put there foot down and won't let them in, are as bad as the people over taking. As they are making it even more like there will be a accident .

That isn't what he's saying... he's saying that by doing nothing. i.e. continuing your merry way without doing any of that faster or slower thing, makes you a bad driver.

I didn't say that you said it mark .

I best leave you guys to this thread as looks like I am your next target

However comments like these really annoy me:

I wouldn't have let him back in either.

Yes, he may well learn his lesson when he ploughs headlong into an oncoming vehicle, and may not do it again. But what about the other driver? The innocent party?

These comments seem to advocate dangerous driving, and attempting to cause accidents.

Driving like that IMO is worse than the driver first mentioned.
Driving like what, exactly??

His journey is not my responsibility.
I wouldn't have sped up or slowed down to keep him out, I just would have maintained my journey, at my pace, as I had probably been doing previously.
That is not bad driving or worse than some dumb cnut who gets a kick out of this kinda stuff.

+1

At the end of the day it's taking massive risks to rely on other people to make way and bail you out of manouvres that are not timed properly or thought about.

I do however dislike driving on British roads due to the state of them i.e potholes and stupid town planning schemes but that's another story.

No.. twas me.. and I didn't call him a twat..

Just asked him to admit being one.. there is a difference *whistles*

Wouldn't have asked if it didn't have basis in fact.. .. ..
