Where do some people get off....

There has been to many threads that have gone like this on here now, very sad to see. We are losing good members. :( :(

There will always be the occasional flare up of tension between members of any community, online or otherwise.

This place is one of the friendliest I've seen on the 'net to be fair..

And this thread has hardly been an all out war. . . plenty of banter and no excessive malice imo...

Apparently in a recent poll 70% of UK drivers thought that they were above average.
This means that some 20% are totally unaware of their own incompetence

Seems like you guys are ganging up on uktyler now , sone harsh stuff said there. I can see both views, no need to start calling people tw#ts etc.
I get your point, and I think it's valid.

Once people start talking with "we" in their comments, it's not a good sign - did "we" vote behind closed doors or with a funky handshake or something, or is it just "the lurkers support me by private email...".

Personally, I don't think uktyler made his point particularly well, or in a way conducive to appeal to a group, or perhaps that should be "clique" but all the same, there was some merit in it, even if it wasn't said in a particularly tactful way.

If people have a counter argument or point to make, let it stand on it's own merit, rather than talking about whether "we" should just sit there and take it. Otherwise, forums and friendly groups like this become divisive and clique-y.

His point was poorly made and in the wrong direction too. And most certainly not in this direction.
It's unjustified, unfair and out of order.

Is there a clique to this site? I've not been here long enough to notice.
