How do you make the bike names into a link, as opposed to the ones that aren't?

Just highlight your chosen text, click the 'URL' button in the text editor to add the hyperlink, insert an equals after the first [url] like this [url=...] and then your link.

thanks for the help, the only problem i see now is the big gap below all the listings and the little links for profile etc, LGF hasa big gap as well, where as others dont have this gap?

i can build pc's, network them etc, but cant code for s**t.

The relative height of each post is primarily determined by the avatar area. Because LGF has nearly as many banners as he has bikes, all his posts have a minimum height.

The signature always follows immediately below the post content, so a short post will leave a space below the signature as determined by the avatar area.

It's the size of the partition on the left with your handle, avatar, location, post count, etc. that dictates the minimum height of your post. Note that LGF has a bunch of banners (bin diver, BoTM, PoTM, Gold Trader). That make his posts "taller" by default.

In particular it's the amount of space taken up between your Forum Name and the top of your avatar by all your banners (or lack thereof)...
