So You've found that something really special and waited patiently for it to arrive.

In this case a 1982 Mountain Goat Escape Goat.

When it does the first thing you see is this :(

Oh dear I hope thats not a snippet of things to come.

Yep, it is. Bike posted from the US with no packaging whatsoever inside the box :x

I even bunged the guy an extra $50 towards the postage and let him strip some bits off the bike that I didn't want to get the weight down a bit.

Needless to say I have emailed him and awaiting a response.

The frame has quite a bit of scraping and marking from use but this adds to the character, the damage on the frame now does not.

 What a f**k up  get your 50 back. But doesn't make up for that damage.
What a disappointment for you.

 :o OMG....unbelievable.....how f***in stupid was this seller????????
That isn't lack of thought.....that's lack of care in my book :( :x
I hope you manage to get some money back but also turn this into the build you really wanted....good luck Chris

Is it not just common sense to put some cardboard or bubble wrap between the frame and associated items?

Duuuhhhhh

I had a Spooky arrive in a bin bag-

This is unquestionably worse- I would be bouncing off the walls. What a waste of a decent paintjob.
