Wheelbuilding..how much?

Mine are holding too , but i really work them during the build .

could do with a good jig now , but they are too expensive . for the front I use an old fork , but more tricky for the rear .

I laced the wheels on my SS King Kahuna in the bike shop with my friends. I just left the final trueing to my mechanic friend, but they are still true after almost a year now. It's quite satisfying knowing you're riding your own wheels (or 90% your own.) Puts a smile on y face every time I think about it. But of course, I had experts close at hand to check my work every step of the way. Maybe the best thing is to make friends with your LBS, ride with them, hang with them, and then you can learn all sorts of nifty stuff.
