Ive a Fir rimmed, middleburn hubbed wheel held together with tie-dye Ti spokes in a cross over pattern. Is it possible to have it re built in a radial pattern. The spokes would need shortening and rethreading...

is this a done thing?

Are Ti spokes suitable for Radial patterns?

Cheers in advance

Depends where the spokes are butted. I've had some madly butted spokes that got thinner immediately after the threaded part, but most seem to butt a bit further towards the hub.

I can't imagine threading ti to be much fun!

spokes

I would drop Marwi a line - presumably these are them?
Personally I wouldn't use them for radial spoking and I'm not sure about the Middleburn hub either.
I had an old middleburn rear kicking around (the shop floor!) that has 2 of the non-drive side spoke holes sheared from lacing radially and ended with the removal of an expensive timetrial bike from any future competition. It struck fear in the heart of many.
Not sure, but I think Ti spokes are for x lacing but I would check anyway.

The only hubs I would use for radial lacing are either those designed for it like certain Hope hubs were, or a forged hub such as Campagnolo, Shimano etc.
