Yup. That's 'cos it works best. All that other stuff is just for show. I'm reassured that your wheelbuilder agrees

That said, I've done 2-cross and 4-cross in the past, but only because I've been in a hurry and not had the right-length spokes to hand ;-)

as its a king thats relevant to my build

for me to; i bought a new set of Chris King Classic hubs in red last week,..

i have asked Ernie Frieke (Bikeboosting, probably 1 of the best builder around) what pattern to use , he told me the straight 3 cross,..also because i am not a lightweight myself,...

Just do as the man (Ernie) says He knows what he´s talking about.....
ps Red KINGS are nice (for the Serotta??)

Yes correct, I want to build it with all red parts .
I hope this would be nice with the black/candy apple red frame (and afterall White logo's)
