Happy wet Sunday all fellow retroheads

Appologies if this has been done to death , but I ask anyway. I was wondering what bike/frame you would like more than any other, and why?

Here's mine, http://oldmountainbikes.com/cgi-bin/bikes.cgi?bike=0P45

Above all else, I love the small tubes of steel, with rigid forks and the racey look of the bike and those colours in particular.
If one ever came up , I would sell a similar bike frame with pretty much the same set-up as this one. Why?
Hmmmm , something I can't answer with any certainty. Vanity? Kudos? Answers on a postcard . . .

So what's yours?

Mike

Not sure I'd class it as a dream bike - whilst my dreams are sometimes a bit out there, they don't - least not that I remember - run to involving bikes, despite what has been suggested...

However, the bike / frame I'd really like the most, is a 91 DB Axis Team in that lime green, splatter paintjob. I've got the normal Axis from that year, but there's something evocative for me, about the slime, lime green one.

I difficult question. As I've improved my stable I have found some bikes to have moved my frame of reference to well beyond my previous expectations as to ride and feel.

Would have to be a hand-built fillet brazed something made for me with my proportions and stature catered for. The closest I have to this is the pioneer. Others are up there but all are different and accommodate different moods, terrains and concentration. Not sure where I'd go from what I've got. Currently filtering out. Who needs five handbuilt rigids?

Note post number. Do I get a cake?

Got soaked this morning. Now look out my window! Just took this with ipad. :x

I'd keep that under your hat, if I were you, last person that did is kinda like Voldemort.

10k posts in an unfeasibly short time, normally warrants:-

a) a ban
2) exile to a whimsically designed village, policed by a large, inflated pair of women's knickers, in bright pink, known as "Rex"... work with me, just thought I'd flip the script a bit...
iii) your post count being reduced to 15
17) all of the above

Be seeing you.

For every action there is an equal and opposite........

Think of me more in the style of the BFG

I only spread love and kindness. I heard about the other guy. Let me be an example of slightly OCD goodness and light.

Cliff!
