Whats happened to you since joining retro bike?

Here goes for starters.

1 Pace has turned into 3 Paces

I spend 3+ hours a day trawling through ebay and various other classifieds looking for parts to finish off projects.

My office now has 3 large plastic storage boxes with loads of old parts in them. Some of them useless

My Desktop is full of pictures of either highly cleaned and polished parts, the complete opposite or just pictures of my bikes in obscure places.

My spare room is now a second garage for "Finished" items

Microsoft Outlook is constantly telling me about a topic I am watching.

I have looked at the same Klein Attitude on Ebay.com in different guises by the same seller and keep telling myself 'He's having a laugh. $3000'

The next 3 jobs on the CNC machine are Cable guides for the RC100, Seat Clamp for the RC200 and Some Ringle copy skewers if some don't turn up by the end of the week.

I think I have a problem, though I'm sure I'm not alone. :D

Basically the same trawling of ebay wordwide.

Trying to balance my spending so i can afford that bike part

Owning more bikes at one time than i ever have before

Constantly getting reminded of how bikes had character and how good they used to be.

and being poor....alot

I'm pretty much as bad as I always was, just the bikes and bits are older  Oh and I've got back into riding steel :D

Retrobike is bloody addictive! always have been 1 bike man but since joining I am 2 bike man, wallet have took a battering last year but have it in control so far! but it been fun to go back to the memory lane of the '90's bike years.

In no real order.

I've stripped and re-built my LTS which is now stripped again  , had a decent 91 Clockwork when i joined last year but stripped that and swapped the frame for a nice Mongoose AMP frame, sold the AMP and bought a Manitou FS frame, bought a nice Sunn frame, built that and rode it a couple of times then PX'd it for a San Andreas frame, bought an Orange E3 frame and built it up, first with gears but then converted it to a single speed, bought another 91 Clockwork frame, re-sprayed it for something to do over the christmas holidays.

Spend most of my time trying to decide which bike to build for the summer, the rest of the time thinking about how i'm going to afford to build a bike for the summer :D
