i stumbled aross this site for one reason or another, but since joining:-

3x GT RTS
1x Unknown e-stay, robbed for bits for other builds
1x Marin Eldridge Grade
2x Kirks
1x GT karakoram
a load of forks, wheels, various other bits as they looked cool, or remember them from bitd and were cheap, ive only just started to sell stuff to reduce and pay off my debts,

But i think a lot of people will agree with me, when i say that the debts i have now, i still have something to show for them, and am glad i spent the money, where as previous debts, i never had anything to really show for it, so thankyou all.

Surprisingly not much - I was already a tool, a finder of retro gear (wish I had the pictures of what I found before this site), a blagger, a blaggard, an idiot, a restorer, a painter, a hoarder, a car booter, etc, etc and on and on...

EXCEPT: I now have an expensive taste for retro roadbikes which I blame this site for.

Currently selling off all retro gear and focusing on riding 2 bikes; Ibis Mojo carbon for the trails and 08 Pinarello Paris for the road. Sell off is not for the lack of love but the lack of funds.

Been here about 6 months and...

my Cirrus, is spec'd more the way i wanted bitd now,

my wallet is a lot lighter,

my bank account is a lot lower in funds,

there's a little bit less fat around my tire,

discovered i had one more Rocky than i knew i did before,

as of late i've been visiting the post office at least once a week either sending or receiving,

i'm on retrobike & ebay EVERYDAY

they're not retro, but i now have two more Rockys in my stable.

Discovered retrobikes when off work last year. Went crazy for about 6 months, spent hundreds of pounds and now have a large credit card bill! With a new baby and the credit card I have given it all a knock on the head for a while, concentrating on my dialledbikes single speed and P7 for the summer.

Trevor.

Found out the age of the Cannondale I had just bought
Bought an Alpinestars from a Vicar!
My Dads xmas present this year was a 1991 Miyata Elevation 5000 8)
I bought a 1987 Fisher Montare XT, currently in bits in my lounge ( I'm recently single too!)
Have lined up a deal with a mate to swap my 2000 Jamis Durango for a stumpy I resored at least 10 years ago and is now in bits under a tarp in his garden.
Ohh, have also got various impulse buy parts dotted around my flat and my parents place.

Have also dealt with some really great and trusting people on here 8)

See the "Retro-ness" in just about everything now.

Troll Ebay too much.

Economy crashed.

Wife(too damn old-Retro?)goes back to college.

Discovers the Recycle/Environmental side of retro-ness ala Ed Begley Jr.

Maverick American merged with Spot Brand.

"Ein?" perturbed.

Definately feeling the urge to fill my garage with some classic, dream bikes I always wanted but could never afford.

Hang on a minute.....I still can't afford it today lol
