Whats happened to you since joining retro bike?

Bit like AndyR really;
All my bikes are the ones I bought to ride BITD. I am a bit of a collector so kept all[most-anyone got a 93 Kilahua they dont want!] of them.
Otherwise;
Dont ride the bikes i've got [enough]!
Spent far too much on VW's!
Got made redundant from Pace!
Set up my own Pace fork service/restoration business!
Resisted Ebay[so far]!
Met some good folks on here!

cheers everyone!
:D

1. Fell out with the missus lots more than I used to (which was quite a lot anyway)
2. emtied my bank account
3. bought a bigger shed
4. met some great people
5. got too many bikes

All good then!

I've become a bikepheliac and also a GTaholic

I can now completely strip and re-build on my own with my own tools

I seem to spend far too much time on eBay looking for bargains

I seem to spend far too much time on RetroBike looking for bargains

My garage is now full with BARGAINS that I will never be able to use

I am now building a brick Shed so it can be filled with more bargains

I have developed an ache in my fingers from to much polishing

I seem to be collecting dirty rags

I have far less money

I did reach a ridiculous 8 GT bikes owned. Now only own four but regret selling every bike that I've built.

I own 4 Gt's but am in the process of building another 2 :D

I am trapped in a never ending circle

My wife thinks I'm mental

My daughter thinks I'm mental

I think I'm mental

I need help

I seem to have done things in reverse!

Came on here sold most of my museum, spent a small fortune on various classic cars and now rushing to complete cars for the new show season!!

Infact, not sure i should be on here!! :?

Al. :D

Well I'm still new here and have yet to buy any new frames or bikes, but I am thinking about a Klein Attitude :-)

But my answer is my RC35's are now better than when they were new, thanks to new elastomers and lots of technical help from Tim (justbackdated)

Maverick American merged with Spot Brand.

I had no idea. I used to work for Frank (Maverick) when he was 50% of the Sports Garage in Boulder. I'm glad he's done well, he deserves it!

Well ..... where do we start?

Bike count has increased from 2 to 5 - not all retro though

Have gently travelled a slippery slope from enjoying riding bikes to wanting to build my own.

Front room has gradually become a bike workshop because the garage is too cold in the winter

Husband would like to ration the time I spend on bike sites, particularly this one!

Husband has learned how to pinch things from MY toolbox rather than go to the garage for his own

And I have to suffer looks of disbelief and abject pity from my female colleagues when I confess to spending the weekend installing aero levers and bar end shifters when they all go shopping!!!

It's a sad life isn't it?
