What do we LOVE and HATE about this hot weather!

For me it is:

Love = dry trails, not having to wash the bike, warmth, dust, clear skies, riding in shorts and t-shirt, riding at 7.30pm......

Hate = bugs, more walkers, more dogs, more dog sh1t, more sweat, farmers cutting hedges which create more punctures

I love riding in hot weather, out today did 37 miles. The flies and bugs are a pain especially when a wasp gets inside your helmet! My only concern is running out of water so have to ration the supply in my camelbak, made it back home with one big gulp left in the bladder.

Love: blue sky, smells, not having to clean bike. evening rides

Hate: energy-sapping heat, sweat, sun cream :?

Was tempted.....yes, I was sooo tempted, but no

2hr off road ride this morning, then supervising a builder/handyman doing various jobs at my house this PM, so no time to go.

But did manage to fit in an off road ride with my 10yr old lad just now He had his first MTB crash too....bless him!
