What cycling shoes do you have?

Cheers guys, 8)

SIDI's seem one of the most popular at the moment, I've also been thinking about Northwave too, anyone have any experiances with them?

Road = Sidi Revolution 2 with Look-type cleats

Offroad/hybrid = Shimano MT31 (not very cumfy) and 3 pairs of Lidl Cross-X-Bike shoes, best value shoes ever. Still on my first pair so 2 other pair BNIB waiting; not bad for £9.99 a pair! All with SPD cleats.

Sidi here too just like the rest! Also have a set of Specialized Taho I wear if I want something more trainer like I can walk around in.

When I first started riding, I got a pair for Nike Mowabbs... er they were crap, so my regualr shoes were Nike Air 180's, brilliant! (still have em too)

After soem Shimano M051 and M110, I went (and still have) Answer Accelerator (II), Nike Yuha Plus, Nike Cairns (orange still go strong, Red lasted 1 ride) and Now some Sidi Eagle 6. If the Cairns wernt so narrow, they'd be the best shoe EVER.

Shimano DXs were always nice but for some reason they stopped making them in black and are only available in white now which is a no no for XC.

I think vans have brought out a really nice new SPD shoe recently but they're going to be made in limited numbers :(

Shimano shoes definitely last an infeasible length of time... but for the past few years I've been very happily using SPD compatible shoes from Lidl!

They're great - really no complaints at all about them, and they have done a few years without showing any signs of falling apart which is very impressive for well under 20 quid.

Only thing to watch is that you ideally need to try them on to get the right size - never just take your normal size on anything Lidl sells!

Surprising enough, My Lidl ones sized up perfectly. Their 43 fitted my size 43 feet spot-on whereas my Shimano are size 44 and too tight!

There were £18.99 but then reduced briefly to £9.99. I've seen these sell on eBay for over £25 a pair in the periods between Lidl sales. I've chucked mine in the washing machine at least 30 times .... the bloody things won't die!
