I fancy rebuilding an older mountain bike / ATB for a change. Does anything have anything interesting lurking in the shed?

Looking for something with a large-ish frame. I'm six foot so I guess 22-23". Would like a lugged steel frame with horizontal top tube and the more braze-ons the better. Reynolds tubing would be nice but the main thing is that it's not rusty...that said I'd like this to be a rolling resto and something that's rideable as a hack would be great.

I'm based in North London.

I have a Raleigh Dynatech/Technium 19" frame (I'm 6'4" and it fitted me fine). It is a combination of steel and aluminium tubing with bonded lugs. I can get some pics tomorrow if you're interested?

another Dynatech but a Ti one this time!

a little smaller than you asked for but its too big for me at just over 17.5" (I'm 5'8" and 31" inside leg) so might be a nice little frame for you?

all tubes except seat stays are ti so won't ever rust there, the seat stays rarely get bashed and are decent steel anyway! cheapest ti you'll find i reckon and comes with black Dynatech seatpost+collar, I also have some Onza LiteGuy forks the right size for the frame we could come to a deal on..

well a guy selling his 15.5" Stumpy said it was fine for him at 5'10" so i thought why not? and it genuinely is too big for me, the Rockhopper I have is 15" c-c and feels about right..

Thanks for the offers...but they're not only smaller than I was looking for. They're completely different!

To clarify I was looking for a whole bike, not just a frame. Budget not more than say £150 for the whole bike.

Anyway, I believe I may have found something now. All the same let me know... and I'll report back if I'm no longer looking.

might have a mostly complete Fat Chance from around 1986; just need to get the measurements. Let me know if you are interested.
