Vistalite VL400 light set

Not surprisingly the battery pack won't hold it's charge these days, and there appears to only be one of the light clamps present.
So really only for spares.
I suppose I should sell it minus the battery to make the postage less ridiculous.

Any interest?

Okay.
Had a closer look at these today and unfortunately the only surviving light clamp has the special knurled nut missing, (although a regular one could be fitted).
Also on one of the light pods, the retaining nut on the inside seems to be spinning so I cannot open it! (Only initially a problem if you intend to run these on AA's as is possible).
I do not know about the bulbs in the units, other than in the mid 90's they seemed very good off road! Probably quite easily outgunned nowadays I'm sure.

Okay £15 plus £2 postage without the heavy battery, or £6 post with.

My god, I have a set of these somewhere! Used to use them on my paper round, although they were more for off road, very bright back in the day! They cost me a fair bit when new!

They cost me £100! It was like having motorbike!!! (including the weight!)

Yep, remember having that swinging on the top tub between my legs, didnt use it that much to be honest and mines still in the box somewhere, may find it someday!
