Viscount Aerospace Bottom Bracket Problems

I am looking for a replacement Bottom Bracket Spindle for a Viscount Aerospace that I am restoring. The existing one seems to have been attacked with a hammer, resulting in damage to the tapers!
Any help would be much appreciated.

I pointed my mate at the shop that bought the existing stock of BB when Viscount folded. But I lost all my favourites when my last computer died, they're oup North. I'll get the name from him and post tomorrow...

there was quite a lengthy thread or two on the ctc forum on these bikes. Some posts were nostalgic, some were more technical, but there's one or two aerospace followers who might be able to help.
(sadly the thread did go on a bit about the "death" forks)

Right, I can't find the shop but I think it was in Yorkshire. My mate has a spare axle he is will ing to sell if you're stuck...............

bb spanner

hi,
i still have the spanner for the bb, i gave away a viscount to someone from Welwyn Wheelers. not sure what they have done with it. However give me a shout if you want the spanner for a reasonable price.
