I did used to have a panchant for sugar on toast sir, with butter. No idea of this round you speak of.

Unless made with posh "batch" bread, in which case the soft bit on the side will be consumed last. My girlfriend made me a sandwich the other day with the top slice on upside down. The fluffy bits didn't line up. I couldn't finish eating it I was so confused.

Where "granary" bread is used, all loose grains will be consumed first.
