That's a shame. I sold it for around £440 on eBay. I didn't meet the seller, but was told by my parents (bike was at theirs) that somebody had bought it for their father, and they were delighted with it on collection.
Assume buyer had a change of plans. Saying that, they were from Derby iirc, and so is classiccyclingcomponents...so maybe just a flip from the beginning. See no reason for the backstory though - I was happy to sell it to anybody!
