They stopped selling Old Rosie in my local due to what can only be described as 'the madness', as you can imagine selling 7.3% cloudy scrumpy by the pint can cause that!!!

Anyway this was a thread about expensive wine..... teehee!!!

I remember loving bianco di custoza, but can't find it anywhere anymore and don't mention the bottle of Sassicaia I had that was corked :cry: :cry: :cry:

I've also tried some Kristal, the footballers favourite champagne, and it tasted like..... champagne.....just with a 1 between the £ and the 30 on the receipt!!!

I could have sworn the thread was about what was drunk on Friday night, hence the title? :? It just happened to be expensive wine for some. Maybe I am still succumbing to the madness of Old Rosie.

Corked wine is such a nightmare, especially when you've looked forward to it. What a waste.
