Been reading anodising threads there was someone who's on here who ran his own shop I think but can't remember his name or find the thread for the life of me anyone help cheers

There are 2 types of Anodizing. The common type is just a dye that penetrates the Oxide layer on the Aluminium.. The other is Hard Anodizing and is more like a powder coating or plating and increases the dimension of the part slightly. It's an extremely hard finish.
