Just more of the same here. Predictable is good when it is sun and good vibes.

today's ride can be described as one of those rides that are better than no ride at all. sunny and warm (26°C) at the start, shortly after that I realised that I overdressed. halfway the sun became covered, later the rain started too. also, I felt somehow disoriented for the whole ride. but I made it home safely after 35kms. at the end of the day it was still a win!

Quick one-hour lunchtime 20k on my usual route on gravel roads and tracks outside town. Summer is now in full swing which means cycling along with 3 or 4 flies orbiting your head and the ever-present danger of inhaling one.
Other than that, all pretty uneventful, although signs of the council clearing the land and preparing for development continue: what was a bumpy, eroded uphill track has been graded and levelled, making it much easier to negotiate.
And then home to work via a quick stop next to the 19th Century graveyard.
