Today's Ride

The usual early Sunday morning bimble around the local roads today with the first puncture for over two years suffered by Mrs Winjohn's friend. A pinch flat on the rear caused by a nasty little ridge in the tarmac. All fixed with no bother in a few minutes and we were off on the road again. 34km , with 340m of elevation, a nice leg loosener!

We pass this spot on the ride, a sober reminder to be careful out there.

I usually ride ahead to ensure the road is clear for the girls at the spot where the chap got taken out a couple of years ago.

The usual jostling for position.

Then called into the local car boot sale on the way back. Saw this for sale. A 1940's rudge apparently.
