One of our neighbours came off his bike recently, at the other side of the Pennines.. face planted the ground at speed, smashed his jaw.. pretty serious injuries by all accounts.. when i say 'all accounts' his wife told my wife who told me.. but he's a doctor and he was airlifted to the trauma unit of the hospital where he works.. it's going to be on TV on CH4.. one of these 999 Emergency type programs but having not watched TV since my kid was little, i'll not see this so if anyone sees it, can you give me a hola? .. Thx

Up with the birds today and then the sun, great to have the place to myself, managed to see loads of wildlife.
Forgive me for the spamming of the thread I am about to do. Given I do not own pictures of almost all the bikes I owned I decided I will not make the same mistake this time! Also once I've papped an area I figure I never have to do it again and stopping was quite nice.
Fake standing stone, was for a film project that never got made.
Yes my bike has a bell as the area gets very busy with "people"
That is my usual trail but I turned off today into the Gardens and old Bungalow grounds (now gone).
Great for exploring, I didn't ride the bike in any of it, just pushed and carried, don't want to ruin stuff.

Was very tempted to take the bike down to the empty lake and ride across is for pictures but I was heading away from my route enough

Yesterday early evening. 15mph SW warm breeze meant a fantastic tail wind for large portions of the ride. High cloud, golden sunshine for the most part. Pleasant 14 degrees.
