I was posting a message to Cycling uk as to why I had cancelled my membership after 25 years.
Somehow I deleted it. I can't be arsed to retype it all as to was a long text .

The above rides round the peaks reminds me of the Shenstone ,Castleton audax which featured about 9,000 ft of climbing (2700m in new money) listed as 200k, 120 m always worked out at just over 130 miles . Dammed hard event . Wished I still had the legs for it , lol . It's a Bustard getting old .

We hit the courts this morning..

God damn neighbours put this Furby under their tree before they moved back to Holland.. 2yrs later and it still speaks, it scares the shit out of me!



The tennis gods were shining on me today.. i won 6-2 6-4



.. rode up Greenhouse Lane, there was a young bull in an adjacent field.. the cows were as horny as fk, mooing and such, the bull didn't seem to give a shit.

Stopped for a pint in the pub, my bike got so much attention today, folks talking about MBUK.. photographing it next to their own bikes, picking it up to feel how light it was.. one guy even showed me a photo of his wedding day when he did an 'endo kiss' on his old Kona Hei Hei.. this was outside the church, his wife was wearing her wedding dress, he was in a suit.. he said he trashed his front wildgripper practicing it over and over on his mums drive.. kissing a football, she was holding

I went up through the Porter, through Ringinglow, up to Burbage, through the Longshaw estate, past the previously mentioned air vent.. up through Blackamore.. Devils Elbow.. Owlar Bar, Sheephill Rd .. Norfolk Arms.. back through the Porter and home.

..neighbours rode to York and back, 5x 50something year old women so i can't claim i've accomplished anything out of the ordinary here
