First outing of the year for the Kileaua - decided might as well ride it! My wrists and fingers coped better than expected, so 30 miles mainly river-side and bridleways.

Exmoor. Looking down on the village of Oare,the Church is where Lorna Doone was shot on her wedding day in the famous novel.Too much 25% around here but i could just about manage it with 39/25 which is all i had.

Good morning for it. Dare I whisper and say...spring is here? The forecast is looking favourable the next few days and the bracken is sprouting all over the place. The cuckoo has arrived on the moors and the dirt is spot on. Still cool, 8 degrees with a NWN light wind.

One very graceful crash at a decent speed thanks to a silly front grab by me. Made up for it by conquering a few tricky sections with no feet down.

The Scilly's crisp and clear on the horizon and with that steady breeze, and a flat ocean, it's perfect sailing weather.
