Just out on a jolly on the Ridgeway again, nice and local, and about as hilly as you get around these parts.

lots of water

lots of mud

lots of fun

Comming from the north, I always heard how over crowded the south is...

The last climb, then home.

An old Knob (Also happy birthday to the O2, 10 years old this year...hip hip hooray!)

Theres just nothing like being away from civilisation, just you and your bike, and the Red Kites circling waiting to pick your bones when you expire on that last uphill.

Civilization and the modern world on the horizon.

A day where i saw the first signs of spring trying to break from the dark months of winter, daffadils shooting out from the ground, Blue sky and a warm sun. Yet at the same time felt winters grip clinging on with its cold, wet and blustery ways.

The Ridgeway is very cool for riding - as long as you don't meet some knob coming the other way in a V8 Land Rover at light speed

I did the whole thing non-stop (took 2-3 days) from Avebury to Ivinghoe on a Saracen Trekker e-stay a few years back and loved every minute of it :D

Went out at lunchtime - quite foggy but not too muddy for a change. The white dot is the sun...
