I'll have to get some old film developed, keep meaning to but can't be arsed. Used to have an ano blue Zaskar LE, with Ringle, Hope, Paul's, WTB, Mag 21's, Syncros, Flite, Kooka (Krap!), and the mandatory teddy bear zip-tied behind the seat tube, etc......all of my bikes too have been custom ones. Always saved my pennies up where I could. And yes the Zaskar was covered in decals too, mainly my name, a few Ringle ones, Hope ones and the odd Stif cycles ones too - as at the time they were simply the coolest shop on the planet!

Must get the photo rolls developed.

Sounds wonderful - get the pics developed!

Well, there aren't a lot of stickers on it, but my '81 Ritchey still sports its squirrel tail under the seat and its punk-haired Barbie head on the front QR. Do they count? They've been aboard since I bought the bike new. (Well, the tails rot off and need replacement every few years. This one is getting too short as bits fall off on trail.) It does have a Mammoth Mountain sticker (top of downtube) from what may have been the first downhill race at a ski resort, the Mammoth Mountain Kamikaze Downhill back in '83 or so. (Here's a vid from a few years after I rode the first one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wJjZ34ZQl0.)

I build just about every bike the way you describe, and I have never had a bike for more than a month without changing something on it :D
