Yes, yes everyone loves a Cannondale or a Quantum. Me too, but they lack...Brutality. Enter the Allez M2 Comp.
18lb, weapons grade, highly enriched, tooth filla killa, high fructose, bald eagle, 8 GMO corn cob speeds which all lead to FREEDOM, born in the USA, top fuel nitro macho machine

Just a fun ultra-budget** build pushing the limits of trans Pacific cooperation in the mid 90s. '97 Allez M2, Thomson X1 110x-10° stem +post and clamp, 3TTT forma bars, scrappy 7410 group, Zipp 440 on Dura Ace/Ballistic hubs. Would really love to put a set of Specialized trispokes on it if the opportunity presented, I'd also like to try a nice, light set of low box rims like Reflex SUP to knock a kilo or so off, but the stiffness of the 440s matches the unyielding, no-compromise feel of the frame perfectly.
It is fast, like, seriously. It is in no way comfortable in terms of ride quality, nor pleasant for climbing on that gearing; it is my fast'n'flat go-to bike These things go like a scalded cat.
*8.2kg for freedom hating Euro types
**$80AUD frame, and what can I say, triathlon dorks*** are a parts goldmine.
***Apologies to any triathlon dorks, I mean it with great affection and this is mostly sarcasm.
