The Ultimate Ranking Bible of Accessories Brands

I have only ever had one King on a bike, the bottom cup cracked and I had to retire it. Tange for the win!
Definitely, does headsetty things perfectly. Is lighter and you get 6 or more for the price of a King. I do own a logo less King but most of my bikes have Tange ones. 👍 😁

Interesting topic. I agree this is really subjective and has some strong regional variation. I'm from Vancouver so Syncros and Race Face are two hugely popular brands. Kooka on the other hand wasn't seen much around here. Ringle, Cook Bros. Racing, Nuke Proof, Thomson, Salsa are other brands that were very popular. Then there were brands that started out cool and then got lame when they went mass market like Tioga, Control Tech, Koski.

I don't think appreciating specialty brands is that much more subjective than any other ranking. At the very least it is interesting enough to gather all the names in one thread.

I wasn't into mtb-ing in the 90s so learned a lot the last few years on this website. There have been so many little shops and brands, but most of it is UK or US based. There was and is a whole other world in Germany particularly. Most of them making lighweight stuff that you don't see as often on RB.
