On the last Tour De Fromage we had the honour of visiting said 'recycling centre'. Can honestly say LGF has a 'special relationship' with the employees, especially the bit when they tried to hide his bike. Hope this works out for the best and I am sure there is a back door that will open to ensure trading of parts for alcoholic beverages will continue.

This happened a year or so ago at yarmouth and they also open your rubbish bags while you stand there and check that they are being put exactly in the right place :roll: and then wag their fingers at you if there is a little bit of cardboard in the wrong bin :roll: tossers...It is their job and not mine to check rubbish....they get paid to do it and I have better things to do :roll: anyway you used to be able to go and take bits of broken bikes for a pound or buy the whole things for about £3/5

There is nothing 'green' about that. 'Re-use' is far more friendly to the environment than any so called recycling.

Thinking about it its the same as the car scrappage scheme, 1000's of perfectly useable cars left to rot while they cant even be stripped for spares...

Fortunately we haven't succumbed to this sort of madness, although there's still plenty of time, I suppose :roll:
Every one of those cars looks better than what I drive round in .......

surely the site manager , so a bit of fiddling on the side will always happen .
you just need to be more discrete and park outisde .

i put an add on our local free cycle saying i would collect mountain bikes and any bits fix up and donate to people who need bikes... i didnt get one reply ...but every tat van i see is full of them ..it pisses me off because there gonna be cut up and melted down :cry: :cry:
