The build has begun

Collected the frame today and assembled it this afternoon.
It's like a tank and exactly as I envisaged it.

The frame weighs 5 pounds,not sure about the all up weight.
I have 3 races over the next 5 weekends and then it will be powder coated. Pink.
Thanks for the comments chaps, much appreciated, it's taken lots of saving and hard work to get it so I wanted it bomb proof as I can't afford to replace it if I broke it.

First race was a success on the new machine.
The bike was flawless,fast,nimble and not a squeak or rattle. It handles like a 26" wheel bike and just rolls forever.
Despite feeling ill, we managed 10 laps(59 miles) between the two of us and I was still overtaking an odd rider on the last lap.
