The Broken Parts- help each other repair Thread!

Now this is a longshot....

On a left hand XT M739 V brake lever there is a small plasic insert that screws into the lever where the barrel of the cable goes. It is secured by 2 very small screws. It stops the roller from moving around inside the hole of the lever, and therefore gives a stronger pull on the brakes.

Does anybody have what I seek please?

MANITOU MARSc SUSPENSION FORKS

Hi I have a pair of the following
MANITOU MARSc SUSPENSION FORKS 2000 model
sadly the steerer stem has snapped in two any one got a replacement steerer crown and legs? The fork outer and the internals i have are in fairly good condition seems a shame to have to bin them.
Cheers Tony

Have you tried to bash in a star bit (torx), but im guessing it may be a little hard for that.

The easiest way to get this out is to drill the head of the bolt until it snaps off.

Start off with a 6mm drill bit and go up in 0.5 - 1mm increments until it's done.

All you do is drill just a bit deeper than the bit where the allen key fits. If you go a bit at a time the bolt should eventually break and all you'll need to replace will be the bolt itself.
